If you’re looking for a new career opportunity where you can make a difference in people’s lives, you may find what you’re looking for here at First State Bank.
We've been built on belief since 1884. Many things have changed since then, but our beliefs remain the same.
We believe in rural communities. / We believe in the value of hard work. / We believe in looking you in the eye and telling you the truth. / We believe in doing what's right. / We believe your value has nothing to do with money. / We believe how you treat people matters. / And we believe when we build up our customers, our communities, and each other, we can make a lifelong difference.

Faith, family, then work.
That's what we always say.
We believe one's faith and family are
most important. They come first.
If you're taking care of those priorities,
we believe everything else will fall into place.
THIS IS REFLECTED IN OUR
WORDS AND ACTIONS.
We strive to put people first.
For us, it's not just the right way to
do business, it's the only way.
Whether we're talking about the people
in our house, the people on this team,
or the people in our community, they are
all family, and deserve to be treated that way.
We believe in each other
This organization can only be successful when everyone on our team is successful. It's not just about numbers on a spreadsheet. It's about helping each other grow and being there for each other. Without that, it's awfully hard to be there for customers.
There is unlimited potential in this team when we support each other. So we roll up our sleeves. We put our heart into it. And we get the job done. When you're this dedicated, it's easy to trust - to believe - that others are just as dedicated.
AND THEY ARE.
